At Petite Cosmetics, our goal is to provide quality and accessible lashes that are an extension of your own natural beauty and our priority is to not only ensure that our products are delivered efficiently and reliably, but safely as well.
Therefore effective from 15th July 2020 AEST and until further notice, Standard International Delivery (via DHL eCommerce) will no longer be available and international orders can only be confirmed as Express International Delivery via DHL Express.
Why will Standard International Delivery no longer be available?
Due to the COVID19 crisis, many countries have closed their borders internationally, planes have been grounded due to travel restrictions and customs agencies have tightened their security screening processes. This has caused major delays in getting our products to our customers. Whilst outside of our control, we wholeheartedly understand the frustration this may have caused to our customers and for that we are truly sorry.
Because the situation differs on a country by country basis and because we simply cannot get a reliable delivery timeframe, Standard International Delivery will no longer be available until the situation has resumed back to normal at a later date.
What is DHL Express and how is it different to Standard International Delivery?
DHL Express is a premium door-to-door courier that uses their own fleet of planes and vehicles for delivery meaning they are less affected by the travel restrictions as well as the backlog of shipments being processed by the customs agencies. Express International Delivery typically delivers within 1-6 business days from the date of dispatch.
How will this affect you?
If you are ordering from within Australia, it won't.
If you are ordering outside of Australia, we can only ship via DHL Express from the 15th July 2020.
We are still offering free Express International Delivery for orders $75AUD or more (or equivalent).
Any orders with Standard International Delivery confirmed before the 15th July will still be processed as per normal and our customer care team will ensure that any outstanding orders will be resolved.
